June was a fun first month of summer. We totally lived it up and had a lot of fun. We started out the month celebrating my birthday my favorite way: Lots of food with family and friends. We had a BBQ at the park across the street and enjoyed chatting and playing in the park
A week later, we celebrated Father's Day - unfortunately I didn't get any pictures :( But I left that night to AZ for a week. Brad's sister Krissy had a crazy intense back surgery for scoliosis and we flew down to help out and keep her company. Brad's sister Hannah also flew down with Lizzie. It was a fun opportunity to spend time with them and for Grammy to spend some time with her grand kids, together. We had a lot of fun shopping, swimming, and hanging out watching movies. We were so sad to go, but so ready to see daddy!
We also did some traditional things like hang out at home, doing nothing, swimming, etc. We ended the month with Carter's first camping trip for our Roundy Rumble! We had so much fun and Carter slept like a champ in the tent!

Carter's 3 month update:
Carter is sleeping 10 hours every night! However he takes about 6 short naps throughout the day. It is a bit of an adjustment, but we will take it with the good night's sleep he is giving us. He drinks about 6 oz of formula throughout the day and is really getting chunky - his rolls are SO edible! He has discovered his bottom lip and tongue and loves to suck on them. He also likes to spin around on his back when he is sleeping and his head ends up at the other end of the crib. He rolled over for the first time! He hates tummy time and till do anything to get out of it - which is why he has learned to roll over. He went on his first airplane ride to Grammy and Papa's house and he totally rocked it! He loves to coo and squeal and sing songs with dad, including Itsy, Bitsy spider, and Popcorn Popping. He loves it when Auntie Meg sings to him - she has an angelic voice. He also loves to read books with me and has really enjoyed watching the world cup with grandpa.
